“I believe the art of theatre holds transformation powers. I gravitate toward stories that unearth the hidden parts of the human experience.

My time as a teaching artist allowed me to hone my ability to cultivate a safe and inclusive environment for students to thrive in; knowing when to adapt and adjust to fit the needs of all participants. When I work with youth, my goal is to empower them to build confidence, master techniques and improve their interpersonal communication. My findings paved the way to elevate those practices when serving undergraduate artists of varying entry points within their theatre training.

My imagination has allowed me to be a resilient, resourceful, and thoughtful theatre-maker. My life experiences and challenges continue to inform how I show up. I believed in both reflection and the idea of possibility.”
